Javier Valdi, a guitarist from Spain based in Amsterdam, is distinguished by his virtuoso metal music and unique playing style. Influenced by a diverse range of guitarists and, by extension, a variety of genres, he gained a wide vocabulary in his playing style.
To broaden his electric guitar knowledge he started his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since moving to the Netherlands, he has played with numerous bands, worked as a session player for pop artists, and conducted metal guitar clinics, earning him a feature on Gitarist.nl.
At the moment Javer is focusing on the making of extreme music with “The Curse Made Flesh”, a new band led by Joost van der Graaf, and his own instrumental solo project.
